BIOL 1012 (Animal Biology) Presentation on TURTLES

Aha!!! This time, I had to so a talk on turtles with my lab mate, Sarah. This course, Animal Biology was very interesting as we had the chance to dissect many animals, starting from a crayfish (something similar to a lobster), catfish and toad.

Well, the next thing I had to do was to talk on turtles for 5 minutes. Sounds simple, right?? Well, as usual, did a little bit of research and came up with points to talk on turtle physiology. Haha!! Did you know that the sex determination of a turtle is temperature-dependent? Above 26 degrees Celsius of incubation, the turtles would hatch as females, below that temperature, every turtle would be males!!! cool, huh??

Well, there are more interesting facts on these ancient creatures....I'll just leave that as that. Don't want to bore my readers with facts...haha!
