Haih...felt the need to express this (knowing that my blog is sooo dead that no one will know it has been slightly revived, so this blog post will have minimal effect)
Kev and I went to the money exchanger today in the city. After a few rounds of scouting, we found some good money exchangers. We wanted to change Aussie dollars to NZ dollars. The first one we went was really good (rate: 1.59...). But they only had NZ$240 in stock. So, we took that anyway and went to the second best one (rate: 1.5368...).
We changed our remaining amount of money there but little did we know that they CHARGED 5% COMMISION!! It was our fault as we didn't ask properly before handing our money to that *&^$% Indian guy.
So, in the end, we lost around NZ$42...stupid! With the commission rate, the exchange rate plummetted to around 1.098...Stupid!
I'll try to get the pic of that &&**(!!@$ money exchanger and put it up soon (and maybe the picture of that $%^&*! Indian guy too, if I'm lucky)
